The simple answer to this is no. We offer internships and have a graduate programme for those of you who have chosen to go to Uni. Our apprenticeships offer another route to gaining a higher qualification and hands on work experience.
An Apprenticeship is a paid 12 month placement within a company. It provides an opportunity to earn while you learn, whilst also attaining a nationally recognised qualification.
No, you choose from a number of options that are advertised on our site. These options are spread across the business so you get to choose from the opportunities available, and what appeals to you.
Yes, you do work full time. Four of these days will be based at TMG, and the other day will be spent at college.
You will be paid £14,000 for the year.
You don't need any qualifications, just passion!
You apply through our website. The application process will include a written piece and a video. We use the video application format to really get a feel for your personality and ambition.
Once you have applied we create a shortlist. If you are selected for the shortlist, we will invite you to attend an assessment centre - we will select the successful candidate from that.
This will largely depend on the department you are working in, however the majority of your time will be spend in the TMG (Telegraph Media Group) offices aside from the day you spend at college.
You will be entitled to the standard TMG holiday allowance which is 25 days per annum.
You will have a set department and manager for your time at TMG, however it is highly likely that you will work with a variety of people from across the business on a daily basis.
We want you to display passion, ambition, drive and determination!
From being an Apprentice at TMG you will gain a nationally recognised qualification, whilst also gaining work experience that will be hugely beneficial in helping you to progress in your career.
Firstly we check to see if you have a degree. If you do we do not take your application to the next stage. We have a gradaute programme for people who have been to uni. Our internships programme is also open to people with a degree.
Second check is that you have included a link to your blog. If you have then it moves to the next stage.
Third stage is to read you written questions and watch you video.
We will then invite the best applicants to attend the assessment day.
Not at applications stage, as we receive hundreds of applications. We offer feedback to people who attend the assessment day.
