Telegraph Media Group is proud to be the headline sponsor of this year’s Diversity Apprenticeship Career Show. This free-to-attend event will be held at the Business Design Centre in Islington on Friday 6th March 2015. Target audience 15 to 23 year olds and parents who want to know more about apprenticeship schemes, on-the-job training and alternatives to further education.

The space will be divided into industry sectors, with an emphasis on interactivity to engage and inspire you. Panels, seminars & workshops will run throughout the day. Many schools, colleges and councils are already supporting the show, including Islington Council and Ealing & Hammersmith College.

Follow Your Dreams Talk & Performance by Sean Rumsey
Singer Sean Rumsey who has appeared on BBC’s The Voice UK and ITV’s X Factor will be interviewed by Lucille Howe to inspire you to follow your dream to achieve the career you want. Sean will then perform his latest EP release 'Alive'.

Our Specialist Sales department will present our new apprenticeship app. Taking the opportunity to guide you through the app’s beta functionality and showing the benefit it could bring you as an aspiring apprentice looking for a position.
Communication Skills by David McQueen
David is a TV presenter and has appeared on Pioneers TV an online platform for start-up businesses designed and curated by Virgin Media. He was also the co presenter for Channel 4′s Vocation Vocation Vocation a career show for teenagers. This workshop focuses on how we can use effective communication tools such as active listening, power questioning and body language.

Filming Video Applications on your Smartphone by Tom Mavro
Tom has worked as a freelance graphic designer, video editor and DVD producer . His clients include Telegraph Media Group, BBC, MTV, Sony Europe and Apple. This workshop will focus on getting the best picture and set up and how to think creatively when filming a video application.
